Marketing Strategies Manager                                      ( For non-profits & Government campaigns)

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking to add fun, productive, and ambitious candidates that we can train and develop internally to take over the Marketing Strategies Manager role from our current Campaign Manager. The ideal candidate is looking to make a difference in their community via face-to-face engagement and is not afraid to speak to disadvantaged communities or the general public at large. As a marketing firm, August through January is our busiest season of the year and we are looking for team members that can help lighten the load. We are looking for candidates who are excited to help us provide free or discounted services for the homeless, needy, and most vulnerable parts of our community by helping us bridge the technology divide and continue all of our amazing work within our community.  

 

Role Description: 

We are looking for a Marketing Strategies Manager to oversee all of our outreach team and sales staff. Marketing Strategies Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies, training, and developing of our community outreach team, and being able to teach and train team members in client acquisition, customer retention, and brand awareness. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Ultimately, you’ll help our company grow and thrive. Training will be provided by the current Campaign Manager and a 3-month probation period will be implemented before taking over roles and responsibilities, during this time the candidate will be trained in every part of our business from the ground up (entry-level, team lead, assistant manager, marketing strategies manager). We are willing to train and develop the right candidate for the role but candidates must be willing to learn and develop their marketing portfolio to include: in-house, back-end, general public engagement, basic sales, community outreach, territory management, and general leadership.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations,

  • Coordinate in-person events with other non-profits, senior centers, food banks, shelters, and storefronts

  • Learn and teach sales and marketing theories

  • Design strategy and set goals for the growth and development of the team

  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally

  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees

  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance

  • Direct the employee assessment process

  • Prepare regular reports for upper management

  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations

  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

  • Train incoming sales staff and non-profit coordinators

  • Development of a strong sales and outreach team
